Northguard ApS (hereinafter “Northguard”) makes a license available on www.northguard.dk.
The terms apply between the individual user and Northguard. It is important that you read and understand the following terms and conditions before using Northguard’s services and products. By using Northguard’s products and services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions in full.
These terms and conditions of use apply to agreements between Northguard and one individual person (hereinafter “the user”) regarding the services provided. Only persons who are 18 or older and live in Denmark can enter into an agreement with Northguard regarding the service.
These conditions together constitute the agreement between the user and Northguard.
To access the service, the user must read and accept the terms of the agreement.
The scope of the service
The service gives the user access to the Northguard’s services that are determined when the order is placed.
Access to the service
To access the service, users must register a user account on the portal.
Products and services
During the installation of the products in question, the product may allow itself to uninstall or disable other security programs or functions if these products are conflicting with Northguard’s product.
When purchasing support from Northguard, Northguard cannot guarantee to meet all user requirements during any repair or assistance session with Northguard technicians. Physical damage and / or missing licenses on the part of the user is not something Northguard cannot be held responsible for.
Registration and user access
The user is responsible for ensuring that the information provided is accurate at the time of registration. Upon registration, the user must only provide information regarding his or her own payment methods and credit cards.
When registering, the user must specify a username and a password (hereinafter “login information”).
The user’s login information is personal and may not be used by others unless otherwise stated on the product.
The user must keep the login information in a safe place so that others cannot gain unauthorized access to them. The user is responsible for all use of his or her user account.
If the user suspects illegal use of the user’s login information, the user must immediately notify Northguard and change his or her password.
Northguard receives online payments via Dankort, Visa / Dankort, Visa, Mastercard, ViaBill, and Visa Electron.
Payments will only be withdrawn from your account when the physical item is shipped, or the virtual product is created unless otherwise agreed or stated on your order.
All amounts on the website include VAT (moms).
The website uses the following currencies for pricing:
Denmark – Kroner (DKK)
Northguard uses a secure payment server that encrypts all information with SSL protocol which means the user’s data is secure and cannot be read or accessed by unauthorized third partied.
Northguard’s own website also uses encryption with SSL protocol.
Payment through ViaBill
When purchasing through ViaBill, the user will first receive the ordered goods or services. Then the user must pay the monthly amount on the 20th of each month.
If the user wishes to cancel the purchase, the agreement of payment with ViaBill will cease.
ViaBill finances purchases for up to DKK 5,000.
Amounts in excess of DKK 5,000 are financed in cooperation with SparXpress.
If the user already has a ViaBill account, it costs up to 49kr. in fee each month.

Shipping of physical products

Northguard only ships physical products within Denmark’s borders and there may be restrictions on delivery to islands without bridges to the mainland.
Northguard ships the item to the stated address, or a postbox near you.
Northguard only ships packages within Denmark’s borders. Longer delivery times may occur under special conditions for example when shipping to islands without bridges to the mainland.
Delivery time is usually 1-2 days for our physical products. Licenses will be delivered electronically the same day.
Cancellation of an order
We provide 14 days full refund on products purchased on the website unless otherwise agreed or stated in your order.
The 14-day period starts the day the order is made.
Any return costs incur the user himself or herself and it is the user who is liable if damage occurs during the return transport.
The request for cancellation must be notified to Northguard no later than 14 after delivery and must be delivered to Northguard no later than 14 days after Northguard is informed of the user’s use of the right of withdrawal.
The desire to use the right of withdrawal must be given by mail firstname.lastname@example.org or at +4570202240. The mail or message must make clear the user’s desire for the use of the right of withdrawal.
Certain agreements cannot be undone. Northguard will inform the user if the product or service does not include the right to withdraw within Northguard’s business policy and Danish legislation. In these services and products, Northguard has decided that the user must actively give his or her own consent to these terms.
These agreements cannot be undone:
- Agreements about specific urgent repair or maintenance work for the user explicitly requested by the user him or herself.
- Delivery of digital content such as video files, games, apps, and computer software where the seal has been broken either by the user him or herself or through the help of others with the user’s consent, including Northguard technicians.
Cancellation of part of the purchase
If you have purchased several items from us, you have the option of returning one or more products even if they are purchased in one order.
Please note that you will not be refunded shipping costs if you regret part of your purchase.
Once you have informed us that you wish to cancel your purchase you have 14 days to return the item to us.
You will have to pay for the package to be returned, and you will be liable if any damage occurs during transportation.
The condition of the item when it is returned
If the item has lost value and this is because the user has used it differently than was necessary to determine the nature of the product, properties, and the way it works, the user can only get a portion of the purchase amount back. The amount the user can get back depends on the merchandise’s commercial value and in some cases, it may mean that the user can only get the shipping costs back.
Northguard recommends that the user sends the product back in the original packaging.
If the original packaging is missing, it may result in an impairment of the item.
Repayment of purchase amount
If the user regrets his or her purchase, the user can get his or her money back. However, this does not apply to all cases (read no cancellation right). If the item is impaired, Northguard deducts the amount for which the user is liable.
Northguard reimburses all payments received from the user including delivery costs (however, this does not apply to extra delivery costs in cases where the user has chosen a different delivery form than the cheapest form of standard delivery offered by Northguard), no later than 14 days from the date on which Northguard has received the user’s notice that the user wishes to cancel the agreement.
Northguard will return the money with the same means of payment as the user has chosen at checkout at the time of purchase, unless otherwise agreed.
Northguard may withhold payment until Northguard has received the goods unless the user sends us documentation to have returned it.

When you shop at our shop us as a consumer, the rules of the Buying Act apply to the purchase of all goods, products and services.
This means that you have warranty rights for 24 months.
If your complaint is justified it means that you can either have the item repaired, exchanged, money back or a discounted price, depending on the specific situation.
You must advertise within “reasonable time” after you have discovered the error. If you advertise within two months after the error is discovered, the complaint will always be timely.
If the complaint is justified, we will refund your (reasonable) shipping costs. The product must always be sent back in proper and secure packaging. Also remember to get a receipt for shipment so we can refund your shipping costs.

Northguard does not resell personal information and does not pass on the user’s personal information to others. These data are only registered in Northguard’s customer archives. The user can at any time ask to have his / her information deleted.
In order for the user to enter into an agreement with Northguard, Northguard needs the following information:

- E-mail address
Northguard registers the user’s personal information for the purpose of delivering the product to the user.
The personal information is registered with Northguard and stored for up to five years, after which the information is automatically deleted.
When collecting personal data via Northguard’s website, Northguard ensures that it always happens with the user’s explicit consent so that the user is informed of exactly what information is collected and why.
Northguard also collaborates with a number of other companies that store and process data. These companies treat information solely on behalf of Northguard and may not use it for their own purposes.
Northguard only cooperates with data processors in the EU or in countries that can provide the user with adequate protection.
The CEO and employees of Northguard have access to the information recorded about the user, however not the payment information.

Northguard does not store and transmit customer information encrypted.
As registered with Northguard, the user always has the right to object to the registration. The user is also entitled to insights into which information is registered about the user. These rights are given to the user according to the Personal Data Act and inquiries in connection therewith should be directed to email@example.com.
At www.northguard.dk cookies are used for the purpose of optimizing the website and its functionality, thus making your visit as easy as possible for you.
Northguard uses a log statistic at https://northguard.dk/, which means that a statistics system collects information that can provide a statistical illustration of how many visitors Northguard has, where they come from, and where on the website they leave etc.
The log statistic is only used for the purpose of optimizing Northguard’s website.
